Martial arts isn’t just a passion for Joe, it’s the family business. When asked what inspired him to start martial arts, “My dad inspired me to start martial arts,” he says. “I didn’t have much choice really (ha-ha). I was just born into it .”

Beyond the ring, Joe dedicates his time to coaching the next generation of fighters at Phoenix Martial Arts' Croydon Centre. His hands-on approach and deep understanding of the sport make him a revered mentor, inspiring students to push beyond their limits.
Despite the serious training, Joe keeps it real—his favourite cheat meal? French Toast.
